Today I tried a DP2. There are two major differences between the DP1 and DP2 - the brighter,
more 'normal' lens (the focal length is closer to the length of the
sensor diagonal), and faster True II image processor. It also has a
revised shutter that is able to operate at its highest speed (1/2000
sec) at maximum aperture - whereas the DP1 could only operate at 1/2000
sec with apertures smaller than F10. Perfect for portraits of these young girls...
Photo gallery I made with SIGMA DP1 digital camera - a very limited type of camera with no zoom, fixed focal length (wide angle 28mm), no automatic best shot programs, very slow action....BUT DSLR FOVEON sensor in a compact full metal chassis, RAW mode, high quality lens, manual modes. A love it or hate it camera. If you can handle the limitations it is your "slave" that does exactly what you want in incredible colours.
